Snack Break Problem #14
Posted on April 28, 2016 by Shawnyg
Hello, scripting enthusiasts! This week's challenge is to create a working printer, using blocks for letters! Prepare your minds to be stimulated.
Break Down
The printer can be just a brick since not all of us are builders. When a person clicks the printer, a GUI pops up, asking the letters/words you'd like to print. You can set a maximum, but let it be no less than 20. After a person enters their word, the 'printer' will 'print' a sheet of paper (possibly a large block), that'll contain all the letters you've typed. Here is the catch: instead of using a SurfaceGui to represent the letters, you'll be using letters composed of bricks!
Elite Challenge
For the daredevils in the community, the elite challenge is as follows:
- You must fill all requirements of the normal challenge.
- You may not have PHYSICAL pre-set blocks that represent letters. This means you can have all positions stored in a table in your script, or however you wish to approach it.
Those who email me with their PLACE FILE AND PLACE LINK will receive a shoutout on the next Snack Break related post I make! The first person to complete the Elite Challenge, or if none the regular challenge, will receive the Snack Break badge!
Last Week's Snack Break
4 people completed the challenge! ZarsBranchkin, Vitou, Goulstem, and Sporkyz are the geniuses who completed the challenge. Shawnyg is a really bad blog author. Great job!
