Check Out the All-New Community Chat

Hello everyone!

I'm happy to announce that our public Community Chat room has been released in open beta this morning. Everyone should see the "Community Chat" bar in the top-right of every page, just under your account name. All you need is two reputation earned and a ROBLOX account which is older than two weeks. If you don't have enough reputation yet, answer or ask a couple questions!

If you'd like to see more information about how to use the chat, please see this page. Keep in mind that there may be a few bugs here and there as we still consider the chat room to be beta software. We'd love to see your suggestions too, but make sure you check out the chat information page to see what we already have planned.

Because I know this will be suggested a million times: the chat already supports every Emoji character. If you don't have a way to type emoji, you can type them with the format :emoji_name:. For example, a heart would be :heart:. This even allows us to create custom emojis, to use perhaps when you're feeling :grumpy:. A full list of all available emojis will be coming soon, but for now, try to find them all on your own!

P.S.: If you're a loner, you can disable the chat completely in your settings page. :(
