Which direction should I go? [closed]

I've been attempting to learn how to script for a while. But, it's never really worked out for me. I found it hard to stay motivated in learning. But, finally, I've found the motivation to continue. But now, I'm stuck, and I don't know where to go next. I don't see any tutorials on anything more advanced, and I don't know where I should go.

Pick a project you want to make but don't quite know how to do, and google your way there. gullet 471 — 4y

I recommend you start making game, you'll from there be able to find out what things are left to learn. ScuffedAI 435 — 4y

I'm a beginner like yourself, the best way I've found is to decide on something simple you want to make and google your way there like gullet said. If you start working and feel like you're never going to get it, that probably means you're learning the fastest. Choose something you always wanted to make, and start working. ScriptedSouls 5 — 4y

I recommend, if you want, to script a game based on your favorite genre (building, pirate, city life etc.) It will do you much good and will give your game a player base.

Keep scripting, and remember, if there is an error and you cant seem to fix it, don't ragequit (ive encountered this situation many times). Instead find the reason why it is not working, and address it in a calm way. There is no such thing as "a script not working for some magical reason".

Happy scripting.
