Can someone help me with rigging a custom model? [closed]

I realize this is not exactly a scripting question(if there is somewhere else to ask this question, please direct me) But I have been attempting for two days to animate a model I made myself. I've looked all over the internet and have found no help. I have no idea why it will not work, i've been following tutorials and cannot find the issue. Is it even still possible to rig and animate custom models? Any help would be much appreciated.
