Why do people discourage the use of "Free Models"? [closed]

I myself don't use free models due to the fact that I find it easier to make it myself. However, I always find other users being made fun of or discourage for using these so called "Free Models". In the game industry outside of Roblox I myself have seen many Game Developers use builds, Meshes, codes, and etc made from different people in their games all the time. So when see people being made fun of/ and or discouraged for using these free models (While Roblox has its own Toolbox dedicated for models.) I get confused.

Using free models're okay to use; it becomes a problem when your game's loaded with 'em. Some free model scripts also come with outdate/inefficient code, and sometimes viruses like @turquoise_monkeyman pointed out. TheeDeathCaster 2368 — 5y
