How do I hold a mesh properly?**** [closed]

Whenever I import a mesh and try to hold it, it's held sideways. When I try to use some transparent block as a handle instead, everything falls apart. Even when having a weld script, it still doesn't work. I'm afraid if I animate it, the arms will be different but the gun won't move a bit. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
