How do I stop light from going through objects? [closed]

Asked by 6 years ago

In my game, I'm making something underground. Underground, I put down surface lights. For some reason when I look above ground, the light from underground shows. Can anyone help me only show the light from inside? And yes, I do have shadows on all my lights.

Maybe try to decrease the range of the light in properties or the brightness so it doesn't show. You can also use regular spotlights to only point in one direction as well. Hope I helped.

Light likes to go through thin parts. Try to make the relevant parts very thicc.
