How do I script my live chat module? [closed]

Well, I needed it sort of like a 'Slack API' Ha-Ha! I have my GUI stuff ready, but I need someone to do the chat box too. (Chat box has to do with the connection!) I thought it was just simple at first, but know I see it's quite difficult :/ Thanks! And if you wanted to do some extra scripting, make another way to chat by saying 'chat'.
