How to make a custom character without a humanoid/head/torso in it? [closed]

I'm trying to make a game where you play as a car without a driver in it like from the movie "Cars". I was wondering if it's possible to delete everything from the player's character and add a car with the scripts that runs it? Basically, what I'm asking is if it's possible to remove the character without killing the player and make your own character.
