Server delays executing wait() statements? [closed]

Asked by 7 years ago

I seem to have some sort of performance issue on the server end of my game. When executing a simple wait(1) on the server it will vary from 3-5 seconds for it to execute.

I have cleaned up all my code in an attempt to increase server performance, but it still just lags

YES: I know someone will say it, I didn't use any free models, the game started as a baseplate and was built from there.

Looking for advice on how I can solve this performance problem on the server side.

Thanks!

The only true way to reduce lag is to optimize your code as much as you can. Goulstem 8144 — 7y

Maybe Show Some Code First, I Ain't A Full Dev. I Make Code, Break It & Ask For Help. BUT Just Maybe Showing Some Code Could Help Out The Developers.

Well I mean the code really isn't anything special, and there is lots of it. I'm simply looking for advice on reducing lag/ where you'd even start looking for the source FIREFACE99999 11 — 7y
