Need a method of ending and changing a level, not a script, a method, as in you could try making a script that does this or that, not code

Since your game is a side scroller, I assume you have at least one map working, and the actual camera moving, then you can change levels by ( if your servers are one player allowed ) by removing the map from workspace ( assuming you cloned it from lighting or some other service ) and cloning and placing a new map aswell as placing the camera brick ( or whatever you put the camera in ) in the right place and the character and just start the level from there. If you're looking more towards a gui level selection basically do the same thing except have it happen when the person clicks the button :p. It's fairly simple if you really think about it.

Never use lighting as storage. There is a reason why they added the service "ServerStorage". It's much more secure and stable. Just a thing. Use SeverStorage. User#11440 120 — 8y

@wfvj014 I use lighting because it's easier/quicker to type, and when I use ServerStorage I tend to store data ( as in values ) inside of it seeing as it's called "ServerStorage" and it just makes more sense to my brain to store things that don't affect the game altogether :p disassembling 48 — 8y

ServerStorage was made for a reason. I suggest writing a question on here and then someone will explain why ServerStorage is better :P User#11440 120 — 8y

You sound like the type of guy who uses DataPersistance. User#11440 120 — 8y

actually i rarely even script anymore, my pc is broken and all I have is a chromebook now lol. my games are so incomplete and out of date it's painful to look at lol, inefficient scripts because i didn't know how to efficiently do stuff back then but now i mean if i went back to them I could easily rewrite and clean them up. My games don't use DataPersistance :P disassembling 48 — 8y

Oh and as a side note, using @SomeonesName doesn't send them a notification of any kind. User#11440 120 — 8y
