How do you create a script that if you press a button it starts an event (A mission etc.)? [closed]

I need to know how to make this kind of script. For my game on roblox, im new to scripting so ya...

Im new too, im learning the basics too.

Check out the ROBLOX University and watch the videos named: Scripting Intro, Pt1 and Pt2 and Seting Checkpoints and Respawning Cars. That will tell you, you may have to infer it a bit, and switch the button style to a pressure pad or a wall pad. It uses the same type of features.

Sorryb bout this, but I got it wrong, I went into the studio and you need to make a part, and u can scale it to any size you want. Then, rightclick on workspace, or the part and find the option: Add an Object. Then find "ClickDetector" and insert it. after so, make sure to add a script, with what you want it to do.
