Where can I learn to script? [closed]

Where is a good place to learn Lua for the very first time? It would help if there was maybe an interactive website or something to keep my focus on scripting rather than mindlessly reading tutorials on how to do things. Thanks! :)

There are basic tutorials and guides on scripting on YouTube and other video websites. RedCombee 585 — 9y

The way that I learned Lua was basically by studying other players scripts, and pretty much by learning from my own mistakes. There are plenty of resources to help though, if that isn't an option for you. I hope this helps you out. These are just a few of the many resources that you can use to get used to lua. Remember, you obviously won't be an expert right away, but don't give up. You'll get the hang of it :P

Its best to learn on youtube codeTheorem,PeasFactory and Pighead10 all have very good tuts to watch.
