How do I save non leaderstats values using datastore? [closed]

This question already has an answer here:

Is it possible to save values? (For Example: NumberValue, BoolValue, Etc.)

A lot of videos explain on youtube explain how you save things in leaderstats. But I want to save data that is not in leaderstats, do I just make a table and save it using async. Or is there a different approach?
