Random Selecting Teams? [closed]

I have never scripted before, besides lighting but that is it. But I want to create a game that requires players to be randomly selected into groups or teams of three. And each player of the team receives a flashlight. But no more than 2 groups will be allowed to play at a time, then once the time runs out for the game, a new set of teams will be generated. And which ever team completes the game first, each player of the winning team receives 5 points. I really have no idea on how I would be able to do this, can anyone tell me what they know?
