Does Having lots of things inside Table `{}` create game deficiency like lag?

Say I have about 3000 Things inside a Table like this one {}

things like `strings , objects , number'

Would That create some type of lag or deficiency of the game?

If it does, then is their anyway to destroy tables or something?
