Does this script still hold up or should I just make my own? [closed]

The above link is a welding script that I use in my tools, so far its been very good, but it runs into problems whenever say I clone the tool from serverstorage to the players backpack in which I run into some problems (one of my past questions that is still unanswered), would I be better off trying to make my own weld script or is it something else that is causing these problems.
