(HELP!) All my local and server scripts work when won't work in actual game?

Asked by 4 years ago

Hi! I'm working for a group and I am scripting for the. I've gotten this serious problem. When I make a script it works perfectly fine in studios It even works perfectly fine when I test it with a server and multiple clients on studio but as soon as I play the game on the ROBLOX site all of my scripts I made don't work. All the others scripters scripts work in game, but none of mine do. Also it's not just my game that is doing this, it is every game I work on. (All my scripts are archivable and there is no problems with FE.)

I said filtering enabled is fine and I know where to put things and I'm using remote events. Things as simple as a leaderboard I made won't work and I'm testing it with a server and multiple clients on Studio and it works fine. IProgram_CPlusPlus 58 — 4y

You are not in Experimental Mode as that has been removed in 2019 but will still be active on games that had experimental mode when it was removed, If you'd like to go to the removal proccess you can do it here but it will not remove experimental mode. Those are just ways to bypass it, There is no real way to remove Experimental Mode unless you create a new game and copy and paste your scripts there. Please make sure your plugins are not disabling your scripts, That can happen if you installed a plugin with a virus in it. Make sure to right click your scripts and check if disabled is on. If you are trying to do localscript to serverscript you must use remote events / remote functions
