What are the differences between using ('Hello') and ("Hello")?

Beginner scripter speaking.

I've been trying to understand scripts by reading them and translating them to see what each does. However, I've seen people using ' in some areas and " in others. What are the differences when using them? Or are they just alternatives to each other?

Thanks in advance.

There's no difference in their functionality, just between the keys themselves. Yet, "string" is used (as I've seen) much more than 'string', the primary reason being that the single apostrophe ' is used more commonly in strings than quotation marks " - since typing 'isn't' makes t' part invalid. You can also use the [[string]] format, which also allows multiline strings and solves both: ' and " characters being used in the string.
