How does one do this? You don't have to give me the script, I just want an explanation of how.

I've been wondering how to make a gun weld to your back before you equip it, and when you equip, you just take the weapon off your back. How is this possible? Did this guy use Motor6D? Here's the reference vid: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wn4jjGU7RDE

AND AGAIN, I'm not asking for the script! I'm asking of WHAT this guy used to make it so that you can just equip the weapon straight off your back.

He could be using alignposition and alignorientation because of how smooth the force is Delude_d 112 — 4y

A uglier way to this equip weapon from back (which isnt so ugly) is to weld the weapon on your back, make so when you press equip it plays an animation, and check the keyframe of the animation when you reach your back to create a new weld on your hand and remove the weld from your back. To put it back on your back you do the same. Dfzoz 489 — 4y

I am pretty sure thats not what the guy in the video used but ok Delude_d 112 — 4y

How would you weld the tool to your hand? Could you just weld the handle to your hand, then the tool would stay on? iinaoriku 52 — 4y

Weld is NOT what the person is using lol. Delude_d 112 — 4y

I know it isn't, it's just an easier and as I said, uglier way to do it. The gun wont stick nicely on the back, instead, it will suddenly pop from its hand to its back. Dfzoz 489 — 4y
