How would I make my player arms welded to an object while playing an animation? Please help.

Hello, I am pretty clueless to how I would make it so that I well an object to my character while playing an animation.. I am not a very good scripter so I am not sure. I just know anchoring to my character is not the best idea xD. If you can help and give example along with explanations, that would be amazing. Thanks!
