Is it possible to connect a plugin with a folder?

I'm making a make with my friend, and always when we make something together we get mad trying to find an exact mesh/script on the place, so i was trying to make a plugin for both of us so we can connect Roblox Studio a folder on my computer, so we can create, delete, edit, import assets, i searched a lot but i'm not sure that this is possible, can someone tell me if that's possible?
