I'm just looking for some way to learn lua with similar intuitivity like http://codecademy.com, any help would be appreciated. If this doesn't comply with the rules, i understand and just close the thread.
I recommend looking up Scripting Tutorial models in the catalog, and that you go searching for uncopylocked games and checking their scripting. You'll learn a lot by the end of the day if you keep at it.
Honestly, there are plenty of great free models and the new re-done wiki is really grate for beginners. I have recently made some Youtube tutorials helping beginners. I've helped quite a view people so far and hope this might help: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lZHgngmLejw&list=UURXZivFpgqgIygI7dijLgog
Normally I would suggest Lua Learners but that doesn't seem to be open anymore sadly. That Site worked for me and taught me the bit I know but when I got near the end of the Intermediate Tutorials it got shut down and all my Dreams with it. Lol so do what I am doing now, try making small easy things. Things like a door that goes transparent when you touch it or something like that. I am trying to make a Role Playing City game to practice.
P.S Message to everyone who reads this, get a team and recreate Lua Learners. Best site ever got shut down, someone remake something like that.
