I've just wondered if a localscript is actually affected by your ping/internet speed, since it doesn't really replicate through the servers.

That depends what the local script is doing. It would appear to you as lag but roblox doesn't lag so no voidofdeathfire 148 — 4y

LocalScripts run on the client, i.e. the local machine. Because of this, whatever is done in a LocalScript that doesn't attempt to interract with the server via remotes will not be affected by by your internet speed. User#29813 0 — 4y

Like AetherProgrammer said. Local scripts run on the client, aka your computer. So they are not affected by internet speed, unlike server scripts are.
