How would I twist parts and decals to make a realistic blackhole??

Asked by 4 years ago

So basically I am trying to achieve a perfect black hole or a perfect vertigo effect where everything collapses or spins with a stretch within each other like in Doctor strange or the flash in that one vertigo episode...

I am unsure on how to make the parts twist, is there any possible way I can even begin to make this? Would I need csg parts to do this?? Or meshes..? This would be cool for horror games too..

Changing the zoom distance of the camera did nothing... Can anyone show me a way to do it?

I have tried lerping the camera which worked but not the look I was looking for. I tried to clone all parts at a certain angle 1 degree to the right and rotated by 1 degree but that caused me to crash hard. I tried a lot, is there anything that could actually work?

I gave examples by saying "like in Doctor strange or the flash in that one vertigo episode..." greatneil80 2647 — 4y

I meant link to a clip that just shows the effect you're referring to, obviously. As opposed to assuming everyone's seen all the same movies and shows you have, and knows intuitively which effect in a 2-hour effects-filled movie you're referring to (unlikely). EmilyBendsSpace 1025 — 4y

-you can use spritesheets!
-heres what i would do:

-look up a black hole gif on the internet
-save it into your files
-then go to this website: click here
-that will automatically turn your gif into a spritesheet!
-then make a decal with the spritesheet
-i recommend looking up how to use them, but from there you should be good!

-comment if you need more assistants
-if this helped, make sure to check that i solved your question!

dude no... you literally got my whole question wrong, assuming you didn't even read it... I asked for the after effects of a black hole rather than a realistic blackhole. greatneil80 2647 — 4y

No one has a clue what you're trying to do. You said "I am trying to achieve a perfect black hole OR a perfect vertigo effect" A black hole is a collapsed star. Vertigo is a condition that causes dizziness. I can't fathom how these things are even connected. No one is going to understand without a clear visual example. EmilyBendsSpace 1025 — 4y

then look up vertigo? i really dont understand what you're trying to do exactly.. considering that fact that you didn't explain it well enough and i dont watch either doctor strange or the flash. not trying to offend, but you don't have to be harsh about it s_iara 94 — 4y

Just look at the answer he accepted. He's trolling, probably 10, and definitely someone whose questions I'll never waste time reading again. EmilyBendsSpace 1025 — 4y
