How to make an idle animation in roblox go on the player ingame?

Me and my friend are making a platformer game together but i'm really new to roblox studio but i can animate and i'm making the animations for the game and i started with the idle animation and finished it but i didn't know how to make it do it's thing when you're not moving in game and in the animation editor there's supposed to be a loop option but it's no where to be seen for me so please tell me how to do this please that would be greatly appreciated.
