How to use SurfaceGUIs and how do they work?

I've researched for ages and ages to know how to use SurfaceGUIs, but I found nothing at the end. The ROBLOX Wiki didn't help me. I just want to know how they work and how to make one? Maybe an explanation, an example or a link?

  1. Make a brick.
  2. Insert a SurfaceGUI and make it as a child of the brick.
  3. Insert a frame (or textbutton)
  4. Edit it like a GUI

Steps 1, 2 and 3 are very correct and easy to do. But all the problem is in step 4, I don't know what shall I edit because I never used GUIs before. kudorey619 138 — 9y
