Tool dissembles itself when cloned?

Hi, I am making a shop and need to clone a tool (sword) except when the sword is cloned it falls apart and I am left holding the handle. The sword doesn't fall to the ground or anything it just stays upright in the floor? When I put my tool into starter pack it works fine it's just the cloning part. Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks!

i need to know did you make the sword your own or did you grab the classic old sword? If you grabbed the classic old sword then there is a big problem. If you made one your own then you need to weld them

Hello there! zompsi!

I would like to point out, cloning from services mostly requires a server script, as I have attempted to do it before local script cloning can cause errors and not load in the full scripts and parts into the tool. therefore if you are using local scripts, switch to server as its more reliable and should fix your issue.

Hope I helped!

Thanks! I am making a shop and should I change the local script in the shop to a script and change it to Game.Players.LocalPlayer.Backpack? zomspi 541 — 4y
