Why does the hair mesh fall off when I set the model as a StarterCharacter?

Asked by 4 years ago

So I have this Naruto model that I renamed to StarterCharacter and I put the model in StarterPlayer. When I play the game, I can play as the model but the hair mesh falls off my character and is always on the floor. Why does it fall off? I have some screenshots of what I'm talking about.

Naruto Model: http://prntscr.com/oqpcnu

What's inside the model: http://prntscr.com/oqpcxl

Hair mesh: http://prntscr.com/oqpd87

What the model looks like in the game: http://prntscr.com/oqpdoq

Any help is appreciated.

What you're going to want to do is

Right Click on your starter character Go Down to Insert Object

click Accessory, It's at the top left

Now that you have your new accessory in your StarterCharacter you need to place the meshPart inside of that accessory and name it 'Handle' Example

Now it'll work but it may be a little off... To fix that, you'd want to mess with the Appearance Property of the Accessory These change the position and angle of the accessory.

Have any questions. let me know :) hope this helps!
