How do i make a retro pixelated screen?

Asked by 4 years ago

So ive been trying to make a sort of pixelated screen as if you were playing a old retro game. A good example for this would be the game Siren head (not the roblox one). I have no idea where to touch on this so if someone was to give me a explanation on this it would be appreciated!

To do this, you would just need to retexture all of your parts. For normal parts, insert a texture under the part and put the ID in it. The texture can be a free model or made by you. For any meshes, you will have to go into blender and UV map the textures on as sadly, RBLXstudio doesn't have a UV mapping feature. I hope this was helpful to you, comment if you need further assistance.

This is helpful but i was trying to get a sort of effect like even if there were no special textures things would look to be rendering as if it was on an old console. Coneyard 23 — 4y

Sadly, roblox hasnt implimented anything along those lines. The closest you would get is putting a bit of blur in Lighting and maybe some color correction. mc3334 649 — 4y
