What is absolute used for? (size, position etc)

Asked by 4 years ago

I heard of absolute size, absolute position and other absolute items.

My question is, are these even used today? All I see what they were good for is position UIs, which today you have help lines in the studio. Do you even use these today?

AbsolutePosition / AbsoluteSize shows the actual position / size in pixels of a gui object on the screen/monitor. It's a read-only and can't be modified (can be modified by changing the size of your object / position of your object) , and it's not used in any particular thing from what I know.
