Can't equip anything in the backpack?

In my game, tools/hopperbins won't go in the backpack, when you click the inventory icon in-game, it shows the tools/hopperbins, I try to drag them down to the slots, but it doesn't equip. The slots are just a big gray bar. No it's not a custom backpack, just the default ROBLOX one.
