How to set ray orientation to the mouse?

This is my first question but here it goes.

Basically I'm trying to make a gun with bullet rays. I know how to set a part's position as a mid-point of the gun and the mouse, I know how to use both remote events and remote functions. But I wanna try to experiment with rays, so far I want the ray to have an orientation so that it represents a linear path of a bullet. Any help?
