Is using string.sub a good way of making an inventory/Backpack? [closed]

Hello, I have tried many ways of making an inventory/Backpack in the past and I would like to know if its a good way of doing it! yes I do know the easer option using Tables but I like using string.sub better. I have made an inventory with it before and it works but my next challenge will be making more than one item in a slot. I would like to know other peoples opinion on this and if they have a better way then this or if you would like to explain Tables further for me, Thank You!

I don't know what you mean, but if you're talking about the best way to store the items in the backpack, USE DICTIONARIES!!! Internal_1 344 — 5y
