How to make animations for Custom Models?

Asked by 4 years ago

I have been trying to find ways through wiki, dev forum, youtube and other stuff but the animation editor doesn't seem to find where the humanoid root part is.

i first made my mob then welded it how it should be welded then i added humanoid and HumanoidRootPart then welded HumanoidRootPart(part0) to Torso(part1) and when i click animation editor and select my model the humanoid root part doesn't get detected.

If i am doing anything wrong correct me

Hello Nick!

I assume that you may have done welds instead of Motor6Ds, this will most definitely cause the parts to not show in the animation editor! Also you must make sure there is a Humanoid inside the model.

If you still cannot figure it out here is a great guide to creating custom models and animating them. (I learnt from this one :D)
