How does this game track alt accounts of banned people?

Hello, there's this game that I got banned on for a few days. I tried to play on an alt but somehow this came up https://imgur.com/a/YXobnFd

Now after doing some digging in their discord server, the person who made it is claiming that it doesnt use an ip logger to ban alts, but something like it. And after doing some more digging, I think they might've used hashed ips (whatever that means, im not very good at this kinda stuff im just wondering)

try an VPN, and if it is using ip to ban, report the game, it is not allowed in roblox. Igoralexeymarengobr 365 — 5y
