Scripts run slower since I started filtering enabled?

i just recently learned how to script with filtering enabled. My scripts don't run how they used to before. The problem is basically lag. It runs perfectly in a world with nothing but a baseplate, but in a game with maybe 2k parts, my waits and loops run slower. Is this something I can fixe without having to rewrite my code?

I cant really paste the code because idk what makes it go slow, pretty much the entire thing. It’s a ton of lines and I get no error messages. Could it be because of my sloppy coding? alonzo12345 60 — 5y
