How can i make a dummy hold a tool so that it shows the tool grip position?

Tool grip affects how the animation of the tool will work. If the tool grip i set isn't exactly the same as how it looks on the dummy then the animation will be off. I'm not sure how i can make it so that the R15 rig dummy can be shown holding the actual tool with the proper tool grip before i start animating so it's more accurate.

Use a weld constraint on the handle and the dummy's hand Vulkarin 581 — 5y

That didn't do anything. Also i'm looking for a way to make the grip show while in studio, not just when the game is running. Sorukan 240 — 5y

There’s this neat little plugin that easily lets you preview and set a tool’s grip on a character. It’s a bit old but it still works for me! : https://www.roblox.com/library/174577307/Tool-Grip-Editor-Plugin User#20279 0 — 5y

When you activate the plugin it inserts a person, try and copy it and paste it into workspace. benben3963 6 — 5y
