Title says it all. Under starter players there are two folders called StarterCharacterScripts and StarterPlayerScripts. What's the difference between them?

Starterplayerscripts are scripts that get copied to the player (under players) https://developer.roblox.com/api-reference/class/StarterPlayerScripts .....startercharacterscripts get copied to the character (in workspace) https://developer.roblox.com/api-reference/class/StarterCharacterScripts ForeverBrown 356 — 6y

simply put, things in StarterCharacterScripts goes in a player's character when it is loaded, and things in StarterPlayerScripts goes inside the player object when it is loaded theking48989987 2147 — 6y

StarterCharacterScripts i a folder that places all of its contents into the players model in the workspace, while StarterPlayerScripts places its contents into a player's PlayerScripts folder in the players service, if you get a free model that tells you to put it in StarterGui or StarterPack, put it in StarterPlayerScripts, they usually never actually use StarterGui or StarterPack through script.Parent
