How would one go about preventing a tool from being picked up after being parented to the Workspace?

Asked by 5 years ago

I have tried a few things and realized that once you parent a tool to the workspace, it automatically creates a touch interest in the handle whether you want it to or not. Which means if a player walks over the tool, they pick it up. You could name the handle something else once before parenting it, but is there a more efficient way of doing this?

Just clone the handle and parent the clone to the workspace User#24403 69 — 5y

Rename the handle to something else. Might not be the best way of things, but it works for me MakeYourEscape 334 — 5y

I'm just going to make the tool into a model before parenting. Stephenthefox 94 — 5y
