How can I fully load my game before allowing players to join?

My game takes a while to load, so you are stuck on a black screen for a good few minutes before the start menu appears. I was wondering if I could add in a loading screen before the start menu that loaded the game fully, it would show something such as a percentage. I have tried looking around on google for answers, but have gotten nowhere.
