Cannot enter model cut-out (negatve, union). Possible reasons?

I have a large cylinder (think, silo) union-ed with a negative smaller cylinder and a negative box for entrance from the side. The player can see the "entrance" and the space inside, but cannot enter.

I tried making the parts -> CanCollide false and true before the negative-union, no difference.

The large cylinder was part of a bigger model, ungrouped before my attempts to make a cutout.

When I use fresh parts, I have no problems entering the new design. But I would like to reuse the older parts and understand what is wrong.

Any suggestions?

I would rather just try making entrances out of several parts as unions wouldn’t always work like you want when making entrances with it. Also, you’re not really supposed to post building questions here. You can do that at the Commons in the forums, but here you can only post anything related to scripting. User#20279 0 — 6y

Thanks Denny. Was thinking, if there is a remedy or debugging aid using a script for my problem. Will keep in mind, scripting questions only. elomage 12 — 6y
