Do Roblox Humanoids require a head and a torso?

Asked by 6 years ago

I know that's a silly question to ask, but I know back in the old days humanoids required a head and torso. I really don't want to mess around with IntValues to make objects with a health bar. So what I am asking is, if I use a humanoid and it doesn't have any head or torso parts, will it still work for the intended purpose of using it as a health indicator?

Yes, the character must have a Head and a Torso. If these are not there, your character will either die if destroyed/moved, or if you change crucial properties to these ROBLOX will revert them.

To get and set the health of your character, you can use the property in Humanoid.
