Billboard gui that shows the damage? please explain

So I saw that in some other games but there are Damage numbers popping up if u get damaged or healed. like a red number if u got damaged and a green if u got healed. Im not so good with billboard guis so can someone explain it to me?

I just want to know how that works. It probably creates a new one everytime u get damaged but how do i check that and get the number? Paintertable 171 — 5y
