I have a lot of experience with Lua's io module when it comes to basic i/o programs. However. Roblox's many variations of input and output would basically defeat the purpose of the module. Now, I haven't seen any games that use the io module on Roblox, and half of my presumption says that it might be because Roblox exclusively uses GUIs for output and input, along with various other things (e.g. ClickDetectors and Keyboard). So, is there really any respective reason to use the io module specfifcally in Roblox with Roblox's variation of Lua?
