I am trying to make a ranking system with API, But i dont understand, Any help?
I am making a button that when clicked it runs code through the ROBLOX.COM website, Then promotes the LocalPlayer. I have used Roblox-is but I'm not getting it, I tried using RBXDEV forums. Didnt find much. Thank you. PS: This is very constructive, And I have needed this for 6 months now.Please dont close this.

This will not work unless you have a proxy. Anyone who isn't a roblox staff cannot send requests to anything with roblox.com. Unless they have a proxy server that does that for them. Unless you are utilizing a group then the :GetRankInGroup(groupidhere) or IsInGroup(groupidhere) functions of a player would help you.
