How to make the ingame map save?

Asked by 5 years ago

Hi everyone!

I was just wondering if there was a way like if I inserted a part to a place via F3X on Roblox, what script could I use to save the map when the server shut down. So basically is there a way I can save Non Roblox Studio edits so when the server next starts up, those edits will stay? Is there any way this can be done with Datastore? If so, can you please show me how?

Thanks, Proud Aviatior

You can do this with datastore, I don't recommend this though, as 1) you cannot save instances, 2) datastore has a limit User#20388 0 — 5y

Try saving a string value and when used you could do like a for loop with string.sub seith14 206 — 5y

Would there be any other way? ProudAviatior 0 — 5y
