What is the best way to load appearences onto characters?

For games like murder mystery (the one by nikilis), he loads appearances onto each character and makes them block. Does he do this by defaulting hats/shirts/pants/etc for each character name? If so, what is the best way to do this? Sorry if this is vague, if you have any questions, lemme know. I'm wondering if theres a way to just load up a package of a pre set appearance without having to go through each accessory
