Question about animation why are things reversed?

I understand this is not a question related to scripting but this is my only source of knowledge and it has been helpful the past few months.

The question is, when using the animator plugin (when i am enlighten to the knowledge of Cframe i will use that instead) i am animating a gun, why are things reversed for example i animated the gun bolt moving back when reloading, when its show time, instead of the mag moving horizontal it moves vertical, and when i animate the mag, instead of moving vertical it moves horizontal, what is the deal with that?
