How to make flat gravity around ico sphere / sphere meshes generated in blender into Roblox?

Asked by 5 years ago

So this is all about gravity y'know. I'm currently building a game with another person named Dan. It's a space game and stuff and we like that low polygon style so we're using blender. Bla bla bla, we import the mesh into the meshpart that's simple. But what I'm trying to do is give that feeling of the endless terrain. It's hard to explain. Here's a sample of what I'm talking about: (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vPHxnbPwJCY&t=152s) So it's weird. I'm trying to get that gravity where the sphere feels flat, but it's actually not. And that you can't notice any curvature. I've seen videos like "Planetary Gravity" on Roblox but that's not what I'm looking for because you can clearly see the curvature. I'm also not looking for a illusion. I'm posting this here because I know it involves scripting. But I need help on how to create this kind of gravity. I hope some of yall know what im talking about.

The sphere would need to be undoubtedly large, you would need body movers, that would one, force the player down to the center of the planet, like a real planet, and defy Roblox's gravity by setting the rotation of the player so that it's always perpendicular to the planet yyyyyy09 246 — 5y

I have seen something similar to this done in a game so I know it is possible, I am not sure how to do it smoothly though. xXGokyXx 46 — 5y
